Structral column versus architectural column

I'm currently using Revit Arch 2012.

I am wondering what is the actual difference (in use) between a Structral column and a architectural column? I see them both on the "Build" panel- but I'm not sure what difference they make in the model?

i think Architrectural Columns are just meant for cosmetic purposes only, rather than being part of the building's structure.

An architectural column inserted into a wall will take the materials of the wall a wrap it around the column. Whereas a structural column will not. Obviously there are additional differences but I assume that's pretty clear.
