Worksharing Monitor utility

Postby Martin1972 » Mon Aug 01, 2011 8:47 pm

I've just seen something in Autodesk's website called "Worksharing Monitor". Does anyone know exactly what this does and is it worth downloading and installing?

Thanks,
Mart

If you are a BIM Manager then it's probably worth installing. It is just a small utility that lets you see who is working on a central / local file and what editing requests have been placed, etc.

If you have managed so far without needing it, I wouldn't bother- keep it simple!

Hope this helps?

Its quite useful if you have a second monitor as it doesn't take up any more real estate. I must admit I like to have it running when I worksharing- just to see who is doing what!
