Linked Projects: display of gridlines

Postby Tom Mc » Tue Sep 23, 2014 8:41 am

Dear RevitZone People,
I have linked a project (a model of a building, RVT file) into another project (a site plan; masterplan). When I load the building into the site plan, the drawing of the building comes in with all of the grids being displayed. Because the site plan is at a scale of 1:1000, the image of the building displays with massive grid graphics that cover over the building. If I change the scale of the site plan to 1:100, it displays quite nicely, but this is not at all convenient for viewing the masterplan (site plan). What is the best solution to being able to view the site plan at scale 1:1000 whilst still being able to see the linked project building without all of the over-sized grid graphics? Got a feeling this is a simple one, but I haven't been able to work it out. Thanks for reading this, look forward to your suggestions, best regards, Tom
