Welcome to the BIM Forum

Postby Revit Zone » Tue May 15, 2012 8:53 pm

This Forum is for the discussion of BIM (Building Information Modelling). Please feel free to discuss any aspect of BIM. For example:-

-What is BIM really all about?
-How useful / effective is BIM
-What tools are best for delivering BIM
-What Standards should be in place
-How BIM effects the whole supply chain
-How is BIM best implemented?
-What is the future of BIM? (what is its ultimate conclusion)
-etc
-etc

As you can see from the examples above, this is not a Revit-technical forum. We have lots of other forums for your Revit-specific questions. This is forum is intended to get to the root of BIM and what it means for us in the AEC industry.

Anyone with an interest in BIM is VERY welcome to join the discussions here. It matters not, what tools you use to help you deliver BIM- be it Revit, Bentley or any other software package.

Same rules apply here as to all the other forums: PLEASE respect the views of others, NO inappropriate language and definitely no commercial adverts of plugs for your products or services.

Many thanks

Regards,
Ian
