COBie

Last year I attended a few BIM seminars and road shows and there was a lot of talk of COBie in relation to BIM. Is anyone actually using this yet? I understood the theory of it but it seems far too simple in reality to be able to work. Can you really capture all building information in a simple spreadsheet that an end user is going to be able to navigate?

Thanks,
Ian

Some good info on COBie here.....

We're not using it yet and I don't know anyone who is, but I like the concept.

Not sure where you are located? But the UK has its own variant of COBie.....
