Sloping barrel/Vaulted roof

Postby Sportster » Wed Jul 17, 2013 11:52 am

Hi I have not been here much but here goes with this tricky one, hopefully some one can help me, please. :D
I am creating a set of stairs running down a slope (yes what you usually use stairs for!!). These stairs need to have a roof over them at each flight, at the ends of the flight posts will be in place for the roof to sit on, we are at the planning/concept stage at the moment! I have attached an image of where I am in the project.
I will be offering other roof styles later, but at the moment the client wants to see a curved/semicircular roof style.

Late to the party, but have you tried a model in place component and use a sweep?

Thanks
I used a handrail profile. The job was out the door long ago & it has got planning permission.
